The Gruffalo's Child (2011) is a short family animation you can watch online on iFILM. This sequel to The Gruffalo hands the story to the monster's little daughter, who refuses to believe in the Big Bad Mouse her father keeps warning her about.

One snowy night the curious child sneaks off into the deep dark wood to find out whether the terrible Mouse is real. Along the way she meets the Snake, the Owl and the Fox — and at last the clever little Mouse himself, who outwits her just as he once outwitted the Gruffalo. This half-hour adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler's picture book is voiced by a stack of British names: Helena Bonham Carter narrates, with Robbie Coltrane, John Hurt and James Corden among the animals.
