Synopsis
Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge (2001) is a Disney Channel family fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Mary Lambert brings back teenage witch Marnie Cromwell — played by Kimberly J. Brown — for a second round in the monster town hidden from the human world. This time the threat is personal: the son of the original villain Kalabar has stolen the Cromwell family spell book.
His plan is to drain all color and magic out of Halloweentown, turning it into a drab imitation of ordinary life, while releasing monsters into the real world through a reversal spell. Grandmother Aggie, played with full commitment by Debbie Reynolds, is the main target, and Marnie steps up alongside her brother and sister to stop the scheme before both worlds are ruined.
The sequel moves faster than the original and leans into the adventure side of the premise. Reynolds is the clear highlight — she plays a witch grandmother with exactly the right mix of warmth and mischief. Perfect for kids who want Halloween atmosphere without anything too frightening.
