Synopsis
Watch Murder in the First (2015), Season 2 online on iFILM — twelve episodes that open with a school shooting and a city in shock, as detectives English and Mulligan are thrown straight into the manhunt.
Catching the shooter is only the start. Terry takes an acting-lieutenant promotion and learns fast what the chair costs him. Hildy follows a second thread: a young Chinese gang member found dead in an urban grow house pulls her into drugs and turf politics. Soon the two are investigating their own department, chasing the truth about Navarro all the way to Mexico, while across town the trial of Dustin Maker grinds through opening statements toward a verdict. The closer the jury gets, the less room there is to be wrong.
This year runs denser than the first — three braided cases instead of one, and a lot more street-level grit. Taye Diggs and Kathleen Robertson carry the partnership that makes the show tick. All twelve episodes stream online on iFILM.
