Synopsis

The terms: enough money to save Lisa's startup, in exchange for a single night with her husband Sean. Lisa (Jane Levy) and Sean (Blake Jenner) take the deal. The ten-episode season tracks what that decision costs them and everyone in their orbit, because Anne does not make offers without already knowing what she'll collect in return. One season, self-contained ending. Zellweger plays Anne at a controlled remove — calm where you'd expect menace, deliberate where you'd expect rage — and that restraint is the whole show's most effective quality.
