Synopsis
Astro Kid (Terra Willy: Unexplored Planet, 2019) is a French animated adventure the whole family can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Eric Tosti, the film drops ten-year-old Willy alone on an uncharted planet after his family's ship is destroyed and his parents drift away in a separate escape pod. His only company: Buck, a survival robot loaded with protocols but short on warmth.
Together they build a shelter, catalogue the local wildlife, and pick up an unexpected alien companion along the way. The planet bites back — creatures, storms, terrain — but it's also genuinely gorgeous, and Tosti's animation team leaned into the color palette to make survival feel like discovery rather than just danger.
