Synopsis
Hard Target 2 (2016) is a straight-to-VOD action thriller directed by Roel Reiné — watch it online on iFILM. Scott Adkins plays a disgraced MMA fighter who takes a shady contract in Southeast Asia and quickly realizes the job description left out one key detail: he's the prey.
A group of paying hunters chases him through dense jungle terrain, armed and organized. Rona Mitra and Robert Knepper round out the cast, with Knepper leaning into his villain role with the kind of flat menace that suits the genre. Temuera Morrison shows up on the hunter's side and brings enough presence to make the dynamic feel genuinely dangerous.
This is a sequel to John Woo's 1993 cult hit, and it doesn't oversell itself — slick fight choreography, Adkins doing what Adkins does best, and a jungle setting that earns its runtime. Stream Hard Target 2 (2016) online on iFILM.
