Synopsis
Fistful of Vengeance (2022) is an action-fantasy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Roel Reiné and filmed in Bangkok. Superpowered assassin Kai, played by Iko Uwais, arrives in Thailand hunting the man who killed someone close to him. What looks like a personal score to settle turns into something older and far more dangerous.
The trail leads to an ancient supernatural threat that could level the region entirely. Kai is joined by allies Lu (Lewis Tan) and Tommy (Lawrence Kao), and together the three have to figure out how to stop a force that has been dormant for centuries. The Bangkok setting earns its place: neon markets, ornate temples and brutal alley fights all feed into the mythology.
A follow-up to the Netflix series Wu Assassins, the film moves at full speed from the first scene. If you're after clean martial-arts action with Iko Uwais doing what he does best, this delivers. Stream Fistful of Vengeance (2022) on iFILM.
