Synopsis

Joe Mondragon floods his little beanfield with water earmarked for a glossy golf-and-condo resort. It looks like an accident, almost a shrug. To the developers and the politicians backing them, it reads as open revolt — and to his Latino neighbors, it becomes the moment they stop selling off their land quietly. The cast brings together Rubén Blades, Sonia Braga, Christopher Walken, Melanie Griffith and Daniel Stern.
