Synopsis
Gags the Clown (2019) is Adam Krause's horror-comedy, and you can watch it online on iFILM. For eight nights a silent figure with a bunch of black balloons has been wandering the streets of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Nobody knows who he is or what he wants. Locals just call him Gags.
Everything plays out across a single night. A TV news crew, two patrol cops, a carload of teenagers and a vigilante with a handgun each run into the clown, and his real purpose slowly comes into focus. The film grew out of the creepy-clown sightings that flooded social media a few years back. It's a low-budget indie that leans on dread and on mocking mob panic rather than gore.
