Synopsis
Alvin and the Chipmunks (2007) is a live-action comedy from 20th Century Fox and Bagdasarian Productions — watch it online on iFILM. Director Tim Hill brings to the big screen three singing chipmunks first dreamed up by Ross Bagdasarian Sr. back in 1958. Jason Lee plays struggling songwriter Dave Seville, while Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, and Jesse McCartney voice Alvin, Simon, and Theodore.
Dave can't catch a break until three furry, pitch-perfect roommates crash his house and launch him straight to the top of the charts. The trouble starts when slick record exec Ian, played by David Cross, decides the chipmunks are worth far more without Dave in the picture.
