Synopsis
The Croods: A New Age (2020) is a family animated comedy you can watch online on iFILM. The prehistoric Crood clan goes looking for a safer home and stumbles onto a walled-off paradise. The catch: someone already lives there.
Their new hosts, the Bettermans, are a few rungs higher on the evolutionary ladder. They have tree houses, running showers and firm opinions about personal space. Grug (voiced by Nicolas Cage) smells trouble right away, while his daughter Eep (Emma Stone) and her sweet, clueless boyfriend Guy (Ryan Reynolds) try to fit in with these "modern" folks. Then a real threat shows up, and both families have to band together or fall apart.
Director Joel Crawford steers this DreamWorks sequel, with Catherine Keener, Peter Dinklage and Leslie Mann rounding out the voice cast.
