ThunderCats (2011) is an animated series you can watch online on iFILM — a US–Japan co-production that reimagined the iconic 1980s franchise for a new generation, with voice work from Will Friedle, Matthew Mercer, and Clancy Brown.

When the lizard armies destroy the ancient kingdom of Thundera, young prince Lion-O takes up the Sword of Omens and leads his people across unknown lands in search of the Book of Omens. Tygra, Cheetara, and the twins WilyKat and WilyKit ride with him. Against them: Mumm-Ra, an ancient sorcerer who has been waiting centuries for exactly this moment, and Slithe, the lizard general who lit the fires that started everything.

The 2011 reboot pushed well past the lighter tone of the original, giving the world genuine weight and running longer story arcs instead of standalone episodes. Warner Bros. Animation and the Japanese production team built something that worked for fans of the classic and for viewers who had never heard of Third Earth.
