Synopsis
North West Frontier (1959) is a British adventure film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by J. Lee Thompson. British Army Captain Scott (Kenneth More) has one job: get a young Hindu prince out of the besieged city of Hazirabadh alive. His only transport — an ancient locomotive named Victoria, running 300 kilometers through rebel-held territory.
The single passenger carriage fills up fast: the prince's American governess (Lauren Bacall), the governor's wife, a British official, a journalist, and an arms dealer. One of them is working for the other side. Thompson runs the tension exactly as the geography demands — nowhere to go, no one to trust, and the whole carriage is a locked room on rails.
