Synopsis
Still Mine (2012) is a Canadian drama directed by Michael McGowan — watch it online on iFILM. James Cromwell plays Craig, a New Brunswick farmer in his late seventies who decides to build a new house for his ailing wife Irene (Geneviève Bujold) by hand, the way he's always built things. His kids think it's too much. Local officials agree.
What Craig didn't expect was a stack of building-code violations for a structure that isn't even finished yet — regulations written decades after he'd already proved himself a capable builder. Based on a true story, the film is less about carpentry and more about refusing to be managed. Cromwell brings a quiet ferocity to the role that makes every confrontation with the inspectors feel genuinely personal. Stream Still Mine (2012) on iFILM.
