Synopsis
Mr. Robinson (Il signor Robinson, 1976) is an Italian adventure comedy you can watch online on iFILM. A modern Milanese office worker is shipwrecked and washes up alone on a deserted island.
Hooked on television, radio and every comfort of city life, Paolo Villaggio's hapless hero flatly refuses to go native, jury-rigging crude stand-ins for the gadgets he cannot live without. Then his island gets a Friday — not Defoe's loyal companion, but a striking young woman, played by Zeudi Araya, whom this clumsy Robinson spends much of the film failing to understand.
Sergio Corbucci, far better known for his spaghetti westerns, retools the old tale into a farce about how helpless a city man turns out to be alone with nature.
