Synopsis
Super Fuzz (1980) is an Italian-American action comedy you can watch online on iFILM, starring Terence Hill and Ernest Borgnine under director Sergio Corbucci. At 104 minutes, it is exactly the kind of film where a nuclear explosion gives a traffic cop superpowers and nobody finds that particularly unusual.
Officer Dave Speed is handing out parking tickets in the Florida Everglades when a government rocket test goes sideways and bathes him in radiation. He comes out able to read minds, walk on water, stop bullets, and outrun anything. The catch: the colour red shuts all of it off instantly. His gruff partner Willy Dunlop (Borgnine) is less than impressed. Together they stumble onto a counterfeiting ring run by the mob, and Speed ends up sentenced to death — three times — before the case wraps up.
Corbucci kept things deliberately breezy. The plot is a skeleton the gags hang off, and the Hill-Borgnine pairing runs on pure contrast: one cheerfully indestructible, the other perpetually annoyed. For fans of the classic Italian comedy-action style, this one delivers. Stream Super Fuzz (1980) online on iFILM.
