Synopsis

Big Shot (2021), Season 1 is a Disney+ comedy-drama you can watch online on iFILM — ten episodes that drop hot-tempered coach Marvyn Korn at the last place he expected to land.

Tossed out of college ball for hurling a chair at a referee, Marvyn takes the only gig left: head coach at Westbrook, a private all-girls high school. His yelling-and-benching playbook gets him nowhere. These players want a grown-up, not a tyrant, and the season slowly chips away at the old-school coach inside him. His daughter Emma moves in, assistant Holly stops living in his shadow, and the girls — Louise, Olive and the rest — learn to win without losing who they are. By the finale, a shot at Division Two is about far more than basketball.
