Synopsis
The Amazing Race, Season 16 (2010) — twelve episodes on CBS, watch online on iFILM. Eleven teams leave Los Angeles chasing the million-dollar prize through South America, Europe, Asia and the Pacific.
The sixteenth cycle opens in Chile, where dangling 120 feet above ground is just the warm-up. From there the teams sprint to Argentina's gaucho country, then Germany for World War I reenactments and an intestine-heavy Roadblock. Things get wilder: the Seychelles brings tortoise-racing and an underwater message hunt, Singapore tests nerves with a 35-foot Chingay plunge, and Shanghai sends racers hunting through hundreds of golden Buddhas. Alliances fracture early, a Blind U-Turn reshapes the field, and by the finale only three teams remain — and one of them has a run-in with Darth Vader before the finish line.
