Synopsis

The route runs from Guangzhou through Malaysian jungle rapids on handmade rafts, Sri Lanka's muddy roads, a Roman gladiator arena, Spain, and Liverpool before landing in Las Vegas for a finale built around a challenge David Copperfield designed himself. Double U-turns hit twice; an injury mid-race reshuffles what looked like a settled order.
