The third, Tsubame Mizusaki, is a famous teen model who would far rather animate than pose. Together they start an animation club and set out to build their own short from scratch — storyboards, sound, every cel.

Across twelve episodes the show does something rare: it reveals how cartoons are born from the inside, the girls' daydreams erupting onscreen into flying machines and lumbering mechs. Yuasa brings his loose, rubbery motion and dry comedy and skips the usual school-anime sugar. It lands hardest for anyone who loves watching people make something real.
