Synopsis

YuruYuri: Happy Go Lily (2011) is a slice-of-life anime comedy you can watch online on iFILM. There's no real plot here, just a group of girls, a hijacked club room, and a whole lot of free time.

Akari shows up at Nanamori Middle School dreaming of lively club activities, only to find her older friends — sensible Yui and self-absorbed Kyouko — have already squatted in the defunct tea ceremony room and rebranded it the Amusement Club. Their stated mission, per Kyouko: just hang out and do whatever we want. Chinatsu wanders in by mistake, thinking it's still the tea club, and never leaves.

From there it's warm absurdity, parody bits, and student council VP Ayano's doomed crusade to shut the whole thing down. Animated by Dogakobo from Namori's manga, it's cozy, low-stakes fun built on banter and running gags rather than any drama. An easy recommend for anyone who loved K-On! and gentle school comedies.
