Synopsis
Seven Pounds (2008) is a Columbia Pictures drama you can watch online on iFILM. Director Gabriele Muccino — who previously paired with Will Smith on The Pursuit of Happyness — reunites with him here in a much darker film. Smith plays Ben, an IRS agent who tracks down seven strangers with no obvious connection to his job.
Ben's list includes Ezra (Woody Harrelson), a blind cellist living alone; a single mother struggling to keep her kids; a hockey coach who needs a transplant. What ties them together, and what Ben is really doing, is revealed in fragments through flashbacks. Then he meets Emily (Rosario Dawson), a woman with a failing heart who has made a kind of peace with dying. She changes the equation entirely.
