Synopsis
Things Unspoken (Le cose non dette, 2026) is Gabriele Muccino's Italian drama, ready to watch online on iFILM. Carlo and Elisa look like the couple who has it all: he's a professor and novelist staring at a blank page, she's a sharp journalist whose op-eds run internationally. Rome, success, routine — and the quiet sense that something between them is dimming.
Hoping to recharge, they travel to Morocco with their oldest friends, Anna and Paolo, and the couple's thirteen-year-old daughter Vittoria, a bright and slightly eccentric kid. The unfamiliar landscape strips away the polite masks fast. Old grudges, years of things left unsaid, jealousy and quiet disappointments surface one by one. The cast includes Stefano Accorsi, Carolina Crescentini, Miriam Leone and Claudio Santamaria.
Muccino, who made Remember Me, My Love and The Pursuit of Happyness, once again dissects marriage and long friendships — no big twists, just dialogue and the silences between lines. An intimate, talky drama for viewers who love European films about grown-ups and the words they're afraid to say out loud.
