Synopsis

Orange (2016), Season 1 — a Japanese romance anime you can watch online on iFILM, 13 episodes about a girl who gets a chance to rewrite her own regrets.

The letter arrives in spring. Naho Takamiya opens an envelope from herself, ten years older, and it spells out the term ahead day by day — including a new transfer student named Kakeru Naruse. Future Naho carries a grief she will not name and begs her past self to choose differently this time. At first the days line up exactly: Kakeru joins the soccer club, the festival comes, birthdays pass. Then small things stop matching the letter, and Naho reads every difference as proof the future can still bend. The closer the five friends grow to Kakeru, the heavier the thing they cannot say.

Adapted by studio TMS from Ichigo Takano's manga, the season trades plot twists for quiet, painfully ordinary high-school moments. Stream Orange Season 1 online on iFILM if you like melodrama where the stakes are one person, not the world.
