Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure (2017) is a Disney animated series you can watch online on iFILM. Picking up after the feature film Tangled, it drops Rapunzel back home in the kingdom of Corona, reunited with her parents and facing the small matter of her own coronation.

Then her magic hair — the same hair that was cut at the end of the movie — grows back, golden and unbreakable. Rather than settle into quiet palace life, Rapunzel chooses the road beyond the walls to learn what that returning power really means. She's joined by her sharp-tongued lady-in-waiting Cassandra, her sweetheart Eugene, the loyal horse Maximus and the chameleon Pascal. Mandy Moore voices Rapunzel and Zachary Levi returns as Eugene, just like in the film.

The show ran three seasons on Disney Channel, mixing breezy comedy with surprisingly grown-up beats about growing up, duty and the cost of freedom. It trades the movie's 3D look for hand-drawn animation, keeps the songwriting team from the original, and lets its characters genuinely change over time.
