The Keepers (Season 1)

The Keepers (2017) is a Netflix true-crime docuseries you can watch online on iFILM. Ryan White directed all seven episodes around a single unsolved case: the murder of Sister Catherine Cesnik, a Baltimore nun and schoolteacher who vanished in November 1969 and was found dead months later. The case was closed. No one was charged.

Decades on, two of her former students — Abbie Schaub and Gemma Hoskins — started digging on their own. What they uncovered connects the killing to a priest long accused of abusing students at the same Catholic school, and to dozens of survivors including Jean Hargadon Wehner, who spent fifty years unable to get anyone to listen.
