Synopsis
Shock Waves (1977) is Ken Wiederhorn's cult horror film you can watch online on iFILM. A small charter boat drifts off course during an eclipse and smashes into the rusted hull of a sunken German warship near a deserted Atlantic island.
The survivors wash ashore and find a reclusive ex-SS commander living alone in a crumbling hotel, played by Peter Cushing. He once led a unit of soldiers no bullet or wave could stop. Now those goggled dead men rise without a sound from the shallows and slip back just as quietly, and each morning leaves one fewer castaway alive. John Carradine and a young Brooke Adams round out the cast.
This is one of the earliest Nazi-zombie movies, shot for almost nothing yet genuinely unnerving. The underwater stalking, bleached sunlight and near-total silence in place of a score do more than any latex monster could. It's a real find for anyone who loves cheap, atmosphere-soaked seventies horror. Stream Shock Waves online on iFILM.
