Alive

Alive (2018) is a Canadian horror-thriller from Rob Grant, and you can watch it online on iFILM. A man and a woman come round in an abandoned sanitarium, both badly hurt, both blank on how they got there.

They can't recall their names, their faces, or each other. Around them: peeling wards, IV drips, and a man who insists he is the one keeping them alive. This caretaker (Angus Macfadyen) changes their dressings and spoons them food while plainly hiding what he knows about who they really are. The more they heal, the clearer it gets — the price of leaving this place is far higher than escape.

Grant works in tight, airless spaces with almost no cast: two patients, one sadist, corridors that lead nowhere good. The film trades jump scares for slow-building dread and a final twist worth sitting through. If you like your survival horror mean and paranoid, this one earns its runtime.
