Bon Cop Bad Cop 2 (2017) is Alain Desrochers' Canadian action comedy, ready to watch online on iFILM. Eight years have passed since the first case. Loose-cannon francophone cop David Bouchard and buttoned-up anglophone Martin Ward team up once more, dragging their clashing tempers, two police forces and two languages back into the same room.

It starts small, with a ring of car thieves. Then the stolen vehicles turn out to be something far worse than resale stock — rolling bombs rigged for a carefully planned terror attack. Bouchard bulldozes through every rule while Ward calculates the angles and quietly suffers his partner, and the gap between them is where all the comedy lives. Patrick Huard and Colm Feore play a duo that argues more than it shoots, which only makes it funnier.

The film runs on the same engine as the original: half the jokes spring from the eternal needling between English and French Canada.
