Synopsis
Inexorable (2021) is Fabrice Du Welz's psychological thriller, ready to watch online on iFILM. He brings his publisher wife and their daughter to her family's vast country mansion — quiet, isolated, cut off from everything.
A young stranger drifts into their lives. At first she minds the daughter, helps around the house, settles in. Then, slowly and with mounting dread, it becomes clear who she really is and why she came. Benoît Poelvoorde plays it cool and contained, which only sharpens the sense that this comfortable family has welcomed its own undoing through the front door. Alba Gaïa Bellugi is the guest; Janaïna Halloy Fokan plays the girl.
