Synopsis

There's the fading patriarch, his domineering wife, a coldly ambitious heir (Doria Tillier), a prickly teenage granddaughter, and a maid whose stare alone could curdle milk. Everyone hides something, everyone watches someone, and the dream villa hardens into a trap where the truth changes hands from scene to scene.
Marnier builds his chilly psychological puzzle out of lurid color, split screen and bone-dry humor, winking at the poisoned melodramas of old Hollywood. The finale flips the whole board over.
