Synopsis
Small Town Killers (Dræberne fra Nibe, 2017) is a Danish dark comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Ole Bornedal — whose 1994 horror Nightwatch established him in Scandinavian cinema — switches gears entirely for this absurdist crime farce starring Nicolas Bro and Ulrich Thomsen.
Ib and Edward are middle-aged tradespeople with savings, dead marriages, and a shared fantasy of something better. After an argument and too much to drink, they hire a Russian contract killer to solve the marriage problem. The plan falls apart on contact. Their wives are sharper, and the two men end up at the wrong end of a hit list.
