Crown for Christmas

Crown for Christmas (2015) is a cozy holiday romance you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Alex Zamm and starring Danica McKellar and Rupert Penry-Jones, it's the kind of Christmas TV movie that knows exactly what it is and delivers on the promise without apology.

Allie Foster loses her hotel housekeeping job on Christmas Eve and, through a series of unlikely turns, ends up in a European castle hired as governess to Princess Theodora — a girl who has already driven off a string of tutors. King Maximillian (Penry-Jones) is polite but guarded; he's also being steered toward an arranged marriage he has no interest in. Allie and the princess form a bond faster than anyone expected, which starts to complicate the king's carefully managed life.

The film runs 86 minutes, hits every mark the genre requires — snow, castle corridors, a holiday ball — and Penry-Jones brings more understated charm to the role than a Hallmark-adjacent production usually earns.
