Scoop (2024) is a British drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Philip Martin and drawn from the real-life events behind one of the most scrutinised television interviews of recent years. The film traces how the women of the BBC's Newsnight programme — against considerable institutional resistance — secured a sit-down with Prince Andrew about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

Keeley Hawes plays producer Sam McAlister, who spent months working the angle from every direction, while Billie Piper is journalist Emily Maitlis, the one who would eventually ask the questions on air. Rufus Sewell's portrayal of Prince Andrew sits at the centre of the film: composed, self-deceiving, entirely unaware of how each answer is landing. Gillian Anderson rounds out the cast as a media consultant in the palace's orbit. Director Martin keeps the drama in the rooms and corridors where the deal was struck rather than in the studio itself — the negotiation, the conditions, the careful wording that turned out not to be careful enough.
