L.E.T.H.A.L. Ladies: Return to Savage Beach

L.E.T.H.A.L. Ladies: Return to Savage Beach (1998) is an American action film directed by Andy Sidaris — watch it online on iFILM. Julie Strain leads the LETHAL unit, a squad of agents operating out of a Hawaii-based radio cover, in a chase across the Pacific for a stolen disk containing the location of wartime Filipino treasure buried on Savage Beach.

The mission starts with a weapons intercept in Texas — which turns out to be a decoy. While the team is occupied, thieves copy a classified computer disk from the agency's files. The disk points to a cache hidden by Japanese forces during World War II, and now the bad guys have a head start. LETHAL goes after the treasure and the people who took the disk.

Sidaris made eight films in this series between 1985 and 1998, and this one was the last. The formula is consistent: exotic locations, lots of explosions, and a tone that keeps the whole thing from taking itself seriously. Stream Return to Savage Beach (1998) on iFILM.
