Synopsis
Moby Dick (1998) is a TV miniseries you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Franc Roddam from Herman Melville's novel. Patrick Stewart plays the one-legged, obsession-driven Captain Ahab; Henry Thomas is the young sailor Ishmael, the only man who comes back to tell what happened.
The whaling ship Pequod sets out on what the crew believes is a routine voyage. Ahab's real target is the white sperm whale that cost him his leg — and he will spend every man aboard to find it. Ishmael watches the slow collapse of a captain who has mistaken revenge for purpose.
Gregory Peck — who played Ahab in the 1956 film — appears here in a cameo, a quiet gesture between two takes on the same obsession.
