Synopsis
Space Ghost Coast to Coast (1994), Season 1 is the Hanna-Barbera spoof talk show you can watch online on iFILM — ten episodes where a retired superhero hosts his own program.
Here is the gag that drives the season: questions and answers get spliced apart in the edit, so real guests like Conan O'Brien, Timothy Leary and astronaut Buzz Aldrin end up looking faintly ridiculous. Behind the desk Space Ghost bickers with his lava-skinned producer Moltar and his band-leading mantis Zorak, who keeps trying to hypnotize the boss and once suits up as the "hero" Batmantis. One thread runs underneath it all — who Space Ghost really is — until Zorak blurts out his secret identity.
