Space Ghost Coast to Coast (1994) is a parody animated talk show from Cartoon Network that you can watch online on iFILM. The host is a washed-up 1960s Hanna-Barbera superhero who retires from crime-fighting to run his own late-night program, beamed straight from outer space.

The joke is in the editing: interviews with real celebrities get chopped up and reassembled so guests answer questions they were never asked, while Space Ghost rambles, forgets their names and bickers with his "staff" — Zorak, an insectoid villain stuck on keyboards, and Moltar working the control room. Actual guests ranged wildly, from Conan O'Brien and Peter Fonda to Buzz Aldrin and Willie Nelson. George Lowe voices the title character, and his deadpan delivery does half the comedic work.

Cheap animation, non sequiturs and splice-edits stand in for any real script, and the whole thing plays like a broadcast falling apart on purpose. This is the show that launched the Williams Street studio and the entire Adult Swim block that reshaped American late-night TV.
