Synopsis
The Bye Bye Man (2017) is a supernatural horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Three college students rent an old house off campus and accidentally rouse an ancient entity bound by one survival rule: don't think it, don't say it.
Learn the Bye Bye Man's name and he comes for you. He feeds his victims hallucinations, turns friends against each other, and nudges them toward murder — and the only way to protect anyone is silence, even as the thought already loops in your head. Douglas Smith, Lucien Laviscount and Cressida Bonas anchor the central trio, with Carrie-Anne Moss and Faye Dunaway turning up in smaller parts.
Director Stacy Title builds the movie around a clever hook: a monster that survives on the very knowledge of itself. It plays closer to an urban-legend curse passed mouth to mouth than to a blood-soaked slasher. Good for viewers who like horror about forbidden names and contagious fear.
