Director Caleb Vetter builds the film around a simple but effective irony: the guy most devoted to real love is now paid to destroy it. Wesley Elder plays Aaron with enough self-awareness to stop the whole thing curdling into wish fulfillment. Christina Grimmie and Osric Chau round out the cast. At 94 minutes it moves at a fair clip.
