Be Somebody

Be Somebody (2016) is an American romantic comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Joshua Caldwell. Pop star Jordan Jaye — played by Matthew Espinosa — has money, fans and a schedule that belongs entirely to other people. What he wants is a few days of anonymity, and a wrong turn in the suburbs gives him exactly that.

He ends up hiding out at the home of Emily Lowe (Sarah Jeffery), a high school art student who has no idea who he is — or claims not to. Over a handful of days, two people from completely different worlds figure out they have more overlap than expected. The setup is familiar, the execution is light, and the film knows its audience.
