Synopsis
Wisting (2019) is a Norwegian Nordic-noir crime series you can watch online on iFILM. In the quiet coastal town of Larvik, detective William Wisting learns that an American serial killer hunted by the FBI has been hiding in his district for years, right under everyone's nose.
FBI agent Maggie Griffin flies in from the States, and the investigation becomes a clash of two methods — Norwegian patience against American drive. Meanwhile Wisting's daughter Line, a journalist, chases a thread of her own that keeps crossing dangerously into her father's case. The show is built on the novels of Jørn Lier Horst, a former Norwegian homicide detective, and that police-procedural grounding shows: fewer flashy chases, more cold, methodical work under a grey winter sky.
