The 1969 run gives Benny Hill room to play a hitchhiking disaster, a Soviet-zone correspondent, a hospital misfit, and audience researcher Fred Scuttle — all backed by the same core troupe: tall Henry McGee, tiny Jackie Wright, and a cast that takes any amount of slapping in stride.
