Synopsis
Unleashed (2017) is a sci-fi romantic comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Finn Taylor. After a cosmic event, Emma's dog and cat transform into two men — and carry their animal personalities with them. The dog is devoted and easily thrilled; the cat does exactly what he wants and nobody can stop him.
Kate Micucci plays Emma, with Justin Chatwin and Steve Howey as her newly human companions; Sean Astin and Illeana Douglas round out the cast. Taylor treats the absurd setup quietly — the film is really about Emma working out why she keeps pushing people away. Sweet without being loud about it.
