Synopsis
The Answer Man (2009) is a low-key romantic comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Two decades ago, Arlen Faber wrote a slim book about God and the meaning of life, and it sold by the millions. Now he's a grouchy hermit who can barely stand his own readers.
Jeff Daniels plays the reluctant guru: a man who supposedly answered humanity's biggest questions yet can't manage his own daily life. Then he stumbles into Elizabeth, a single mother running a small chiropractic office (Lauren Graham). Her easy warmth chips away at his armor. Kat Dennings and Lou Taylor Pucci round out a cast of people looking for something real instead of a paperback prophet.
