Synopsis
Vengeance: A Love Story (2017) is an American thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Johnny Martin and starring Nicolas Cage. A single mother is brutally assaulted in front of her young daughter. The evidence is clear-cut. The case should be simple.
It isn't. The suspects' families hire a lawyer who turns the courtroom into a weapon, methodically tearing down the victims' credibility in front of a jury. Detective John Droomor — assigned to the case almost by accident — watches the process unravel and decides he's not prepared to let that be the ending. Anna Hutchison plays the survivor, and Don Johnson brings weight to the opposing side. The film doesn't soften what happened or how the system responds to it — and that's precisely what makes it uncomfortable in the right way.
