I Am Soldier

I Am Soldier (2014) is a British military thriller directed by Ronnie Thompson — watch it online on iFILM. Mickey Tomlinson is on the books as a military chef. He puts his name in for SAS selection anyway. What follows is weeks of speed marches across the Brecon Beacons, an escape-and-evasion phase where candidates are hunted across open ground, and a tactical questioning stage that ends careers. Mickey is not supposed to get through any of it.

The screenplay was developed with Alistair McNab, a former SAS soldier, which shows in the procedural detail — the sequence of phases, the deliberate psychological pressure, the way instructors say nothing until they say everything.
