Synopsis
Doc Martin (2004) is an ITV British comedy drama you can watch online on iFILM. Martin Clunes plays Dr. Martin Ellingham — a distinguished London surgeon who trades the operating theatre for a village GP practice on the rugged Cornish coast.
He is brilliant and absolutely insufferable. His bedside manner is nonexistent, his patience with patients even shorter, and the locals of fictional Portwenn are not quite sure whether to admire or despise him. Caroline Katz plays Louisa, the village schoolteacher who is not charmed by his bluntness. Created by Dominic Minghella from a character in the 2000 film Saving Grace, the series was shot on location in Port Isaac, Cornwall — cobbled streets, harbour views and all.
