Across the aisle Nicola Murray adjusts to opposition life, breaks in a new adviser, and watches a careless photograph blow up in her face. When a key-worker housing sell-off falls apart, it scorches both camps — and then Lord Goolding's inquiry hauls everyone, government and opposition alike, in front of the cameras.
