Synopsis

The 4400 (2004), Season 1 — watch online on iFILM. Five episodes of American-British sci-fi drama built around one hard fact: 4,400 people who vanished over five decades materialize in a ball of light over Seattle, physically unchanged and with no memory of where they went.

The government stands up a new unit, NTAC, and assigns agents Tom Baldwin and Diana Squire to the file. The first season works case by case — a returnee turned street vigilante, a 4400 suspect in a string of old murders, extremists planting bombs at returnees' homes. Underneath each case, a quieter question accumulates: someone sent these people back on purpose, and Episode 5 delivers the first real answer.

Five episodes is a lean start, and the show is smarter for it — the mythology earns weight because the individual stories land first. Stream The 4400 Season 1 online on iFILM.
